THE eGIRLS CAREER SEMINAR
(Empowering Girls in Engineering)
As a sequel to the E-Girls Program launched in 2024, the eGirls Career Seminar was held on Thursday, 31st October 2025, at the St. Paul Methodist Conference Hall in Tema. This initiative forms part of GPMS Inspir’ED, sparking positive change, one step at a time and aligns with SDG Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 5: Gender Equality.
The seminar inspired young women to explore careers in engineering and STEM, addressing the gender gap through mentorship, exposure, and motivation
A total of ninety-six students from Our Lady of Mercy Girls Senior High School, Datus International School, and Tema Methodist Senior High School participated. The program featured a keynote by Ing. Sylvia Sampong Ekremet (PE-GhIE), corporate presentations, and student reflections, with participants sharing lessons of resilience, confidence, and belief in their potential.
The eGirls Career Seminar continues the mission of the E-Girls Program by building early interest in STEM and creating inclusive pathways for young women to become future leaders in technical fields.
