Our offshore capabilities include a Catenary Anchored Leg Mooring (CALM) Single Point Mooring (SPM) system, situated 3.2 nautical miles from the fishing harbor. Operating at a water depth of 22.0 meters with a maximum allowable draft of 17.0 meters, this robust facility safely accommodates tankers up to 155,000 DWT.
During operations, vessels are piloted from the boarding grounds to the SPM and securely moored to the single buoy via a hawser. Crude oil is efficiently transferred to shoreside storage tanks through a 16-inch hose and a 36-inch pipeline, supporting an impressive annual product throughput of approximately 341,160 metric tons.
Our offshore infrastructure also features a Conventional Buoy Mooring (CBM) system, known as the All-Buoy Berth (ABB), located 2.7 nautical miles from the fishing harbor. With a water depth of 18.0 meters and a maximum allowable draft of 12.2 meters, this berth safely accommodates tankers up to 50,000 DWT, with a maximum length of 203.0 meters and a breadth of 32.2 meters.
Vessels are expertly guided from the pilot boarding grounds into the ABB system, where they are securely moored using a four-buoy configuration (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, and Delta). Dedicated to the efficient transfer of white products—primarily gasoil and gasoline—the ABB connects directly to shoreside storage tanks via 12-inch hoses and an 18-inch pipeline, handling an impressive annual throughput of approximately 2.8 million metric tons.
Our versatile, multi-purpose Oil Jetty handles the import and export of crude oil, fuel oil, ATK, gasoil, gasoline, naphtha, and LPG (butane/propane). The facility accommodates vessels with a maximum LOA of 244 meters and a 9.60-meter draft. For maximum efficiency and safety, all berthing is managed by a dedicated pilot, tugboat, and mooring team—backed by 24/7 standby emergency services.
Cargo operations are powered by five Marine Loading Arms (MLAs) and a flexible hose system connected to six multi-sized pipelines, seamlessly linking the jetty directly to eight major offsite tank farms, including the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) and private terminals.
